Creekside Backyard Bubbly, Creek Shores Vineyard – Creekside is a local hero and the wines are inspiring. We love this sparkling and are so excited to have it be featured in our Holiday Bubbly Bar event! If you don’t know, now you know. So click here to check it out

Tasting Note: Making Sauvignon Blanc fruit into sparkling wine is an interesting proposition, in that we pick our savvie on flavour rather than numbers like Brix or acidity. The growing season in 2016 seemed like one endless dry heatwave, meaning that we had some serious giddy-up to get our Backyard Block fruit off the vine in early September before it over-ripened. We chose the Charmat (tank) method of secondary fermentation to make our Backyard Bubbly 2016, as that technique allows for better preservation of the fresh fruit flavours that we cherish and strive for.

Find it for $25.00 from the winery only, here!

Château des Charmes Brut Méthode Traditionelle VQA – This traditional method sparkler delights and we can’t wait to head to this real-life wine castle + sip some of this bubbly next weekend (Nov.18)! A few spots remain on the tour bus, so click here to reserve your spot today! Like always, its $249 + bring a friend for $1. Can’ jet to Niagara so quick with us? Save the date for our Icewine Tour on January 20th and check it out here!

Tasting Note: Our Brut is a classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir made in the traditional method. We bottle age this wine on the lees for a minimum of two to three years and disgorge each bottle just before it leaves our hands, the practice of “RD” or recently disgorged; a sign of quality and attention to detail on the part of the producer. On the nose, it should remind you of lemon, lime and toasted bread. The creamy texture is punctuated by the fine, persistent bubbles.
