What We’re Drinking: Wines of the Week
Read on to get some of our most recent holiday wine picks – perfect for impressing your guests and entertaining.
Vilarnau Brut Reserva Cava – Made from the most traditional Cava grape varieties, we love Cava as a Champagne alternative. Made using the champenoise traditional method (Chamapgne method) you will be surprised at what a great Sparkling this is to entertain with this Holiday season.
Tasting Note: Crafted from 50% Macabeo, 35% Parellada and 15% Xarello sourced from sites in the highest and windiest part of Sant Sadurni d’Anoia. This suggests impressive green apple and pear notes, with fine baked bread tones. Dry and long with amazing presence. Very good value. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2017)
