It may not be Ontario wine week, but that doesn’t stop us from enjoying these local favourites, every chance we get!

Smoke and Gamble 2015 Reserve Cabernet-Merlot

Winemakers Note: The Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon were sourced from vineyards in Niagara, with the Merlot from our vineyards in Norfolk County. Fermented in oak. All aging was finished in French and American oak barrels, the Merlot being held almost two years.

Tasting Note: Deep garnet colour with a vibrant purple rim. Black currant, blackberry & spice initially on the nose, hints of oak, leather & smoke
followed by not aggressive tannins, good structure and moderate acidity. Forward fruit on the palate is framed subtle oak integration. Cherry, leather and spice dominate the lingering finish.

Flat Rock Good Kharma Chardonnay VQA

Tasting Note: An enticing mineral note jumps out of the glass, accompanied fresh citrus and apple aromas. Gently oaked-fine acidity gives great length and persistence.

Adamo Cabernet Franc 2015 Wismer Foxcroft Vineyard, Growers Series

Tasting Note: A dark wine with great depth. Fruit flavours of blackberries, blackcurrants and dates are on the forefront of the palate, followed by figs, violets and leather. A medium-full bodied blend with a textured mid-palate of layered, gripping, tannins and balanced acidity, extend to the med-long finish. Lingering flavours of currants, cigar box, graphite and barrel toast remain on the finish. Secondary complexities persist in the background of this wine and will continue to develop and integrate over time. A wine to drink with red meats or to age in your cellar.
