It’s Patio Season at Grape Witches

Grape Witches has officially opened their back patio space and we couldn’t be more excited! They offer a casual and cozy experience where you can drink and learn from their knowledgeable staff members.

Make sure you arrive thirsty, because the menu includes a list of 20 wines that can be enjoyed either by the glass or through 1 oz Sippers. The Sippers allow guests to taste a little bit of everything, and between their Sparkling, White, Orange, Rosé and Red wine options, there is a lot to choose from!
You can also order your wine by the bottle, or pay a $20.00 corkage fee to open any of the 200 wines from their bottle shop.
For those of you who are a little more adventurous, they have a ‘Wildcard’ section that features some very unique beverages. For instance, one of their ‘Wildcards’ at the moment is a Pet-Nat Sake.
They also have a ‘Rare Prize,’ which highlights an extra special bottle that you may not have come across before. Right now they are featuring the Domaine De Kalathas ‘Notias’ from Aspro Potamisi on Tinos Island in Greece.
To eat, they have a small snackable program which includes Robinson sourdough and butter, Good Fork hummus or Xim Xim, Pasta Forever citrus olives, Spanish conservas, Cacciatorino, and Milou Basque cheesecake.

With colourful accents, artistic details and a beautiful fountain in the middle, the space feels like a secret garden.
They are currently only accepting walk-ins and are open from noon to 9:00 pm from Monday to Saturday and from noon to 7:00 pm on Sunday. There is talk of them extending their hours later into the night, so stay tuned for future updates!

For those of you who don’t know, Grape Witches was founded in 2015 by two women; Nicole Campbell and Krysta Oben. What began as a series of parties and educational events has expanded into a business that makes natural wine accessible and available through importing, education, curated packs, a bottle shop, and now, also a patio dining experience!
The start of Grape Witches came from the idea of sharing the wines that sommeliers actually like to drink and enjoy. These wines are made by small producers from all over the world using native grapes and ethical farming methods to create dynamic flavours and defy the rules of what is considered “great wine.” With that being said, they chose to focus on sustainable, organic, biodynamic and natural wines that cannot be found at the LCBO.

Grape Witches believes in the importance of giving back to the community, which is why they support and donate to various organizations across Toronto such as, FoodShare, Toronto Restaurant Relief Fund, Nellie’s, Sistering to Women’s Health in Women’s Hands, Across Boundaries, Not Another Black Life, and The 519.
Visit Grape Witches today to drink some great wine while also giving back to those who need it the most!
